Hi , I'm not using Photo shop to enhance my own photographs mainly because I'm really not a photographer. What I use Photoshop for is scanning old vintage illustration artwork I collect. Anything from old rock concert posters from the 1960's to vintage surf movie posters (some that date back to the 1950's) so I use Photoshop to clean up these images to the point where there not looking so torn and frayed, get them on my store and with a little luck maybe sell one or two. I'm having terrible trouble lately with any printed lettering on these pieces. Any thing from jagged edges, to total moire pattern madness. Please let me know if you could help me get through this extremely rough patch of road I'm on now.

Hi Joe! Sounds like a resolution issue. Your Photoshop poster files need to be 300dpi @ the size they are printing. If your resolution is lower than that (72 or 150) text will print jagged and pixelated. So when you scan in your old vintage artwork, make sure you are scanning at 300dpi or higher if you are going to enlarge it after scanning! Hope this helps!!!
