If you don't already know what affiliate marketing is, let me quickly fill you in. Affiliate marketing is a marketing arrangement by which an online retailer pays a commission to an external website for traffic or sales generated from its referrals. For example, I am a very proud Adobe affiliate. I filled out a brief form on their website and once I was "approved" they gave me access to my individual affiliate link along with banner ads and text links to help promote their products. I place these links and ads randomly within my posts and around my website. If someone clicks on the link or the ad and purchases or subscribes to any of Adobe's products, I receive a commission from that sale. Adobe's commission is actually really good. They pay each referral 85% of the first month's subscription cost.
*This post contains affiliate links.
Adobe is just one of MANY online retailers that offer affiliate marketing programs. The goal of this post is to compile and neatly organize a nice large resource list for all of my favorite graphic designers, web designers and creative gurus in general. I hope this list helps jump start your affiliate marketing efforts!
My Favorite Affiliate Programs

1. Adobe - Earn commissions by promoting Adobe online Creative Cloud suite which is the industry standard design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign and AdobeStock.
2. Redbubble - Redbubble is a global marketplace offering unique, original art by awesome, independent artists on high quality products. Whether you're a fan of illustration, photography, design, collage, painting, mixed media or typography, Redbubble has thousands upon thousands of amazing artworks from the studios, lenses and desktops of artists across the globe.
3. Creative Market - With just an internet connection and some design skills, creators can make a living from anywhere in the world, no matter their race, gender, or background. By connecting them with a network of 4.8 million potential customers, we've been inspired by how our platform has impacted peoples’ lives. Powered by Creative Market
4. Zazzle - Zazzle.com is a huge online market place. You buy, sell or create your own custom designed products such as t-shirts, mugs, puzzles, business cards and so much more. If you can dream it, you can create it or buy it on Zazzle.com
5. SquareSpace - SquareSpace.com is a website building platform that is very popular among the blogging community because it requires no coding! They have beautiful, and intuitive, drag and drop templates that anyone can easily figure out.
6. Weebly - Similar to SquareSpace, Weebly.com is another online website building platform. I use weebly for my own websites and my clients websites! I receive a commission each time I create a website for my clients because I sign them up via my affiliate link. 7. Blurb - Blurb.com is a website that helps you create beautiful printed books and/or photo books! I recently used Blurb to create a memory book for a friend of mine who's father recently passed away. You can upload your own custom designed pages or they have an easy to use design tool within the site to help set up your book. Their affiliate program is not only a commission but they have a referral program too! 8. Sticker Hub - Stickerhub.com is the fastest growing custom printing company in the United States and they are looking for qualified affiliates who want to partner with us in order to promote our highly converting website and drive customers to our website. You advertise their site, customers buy from them, and YOU get a huge commission, it's that simple! 9. Trello - Trello.com is the platform I use to organize my client's information, set up daily, weekly and monthly goals and targets and just an easy all around online organizational tool. If you are a freelancer and haven't checked it out yet, you should! They also have a great referral program! 10. Dropbox - If you are a designer than you are probably already using Dropbox because it is the easiest and most affordable cloud storage out there, in my opinion anyway! Let's face it, as designers we have large files that not only need to be securely stored but they need to be securely stored somewhere other than our hard drives! Sign up and start earning!
